I made a very basic full size model to develop a “real world feel” of the proposed sizes this gave me a better idea of where the design needed to be refined.

I made some renders in Keyshot to help show the possibilities of individuals combining their workspace. I also wanted to help convey the difference of feel between sitting and standing level.

I created some basic booths in Solidworks to help work out some of the details of the project. 
Solidworks begginings
I have started digitally modelling aspects of the product to help development.
First rotomould
We have created our first test mould on the rotational moulding machine using “Jesmonite ac100”. This has given us a better idea of the limitations of Jesmonite, the speed the moulder should be turned at and the difficulties in controlling wall thickness.
Crompton factory visit
The chance to see Compton’s facility was valuable and provided a chance to see the process on an industrial scale. Seeing other products in the factory gave a better idea of the types of after mould parts that can be included in the design.
Quick cardboard models
A small cardboard model with interchangeable walls and features to help understand how the product could work. 
A great blog for real workspaces
Despite the Russian this blog is a brilliant resource for real creative workspaces in use.
Time plan, so far
As the set time for the “Feasibility Phase” concludes this is how my personal time plan has developed so far.
DIY roto day two
The moulder can now spin on both axis and the mechanism is mounted. Only the drive and chain are left to attach.
